The New Balance 1906R Comme des Garcons Homme Black is a high-profile collaboration between US streetwear tycoon New Balance and Japanese fashion label and frequent contributor in the footwear space Comme des Garcons. Featuring a monochromatic all-black colourway the resulting shoe looks incredibly clean and that's because Comme des Garcons has a pretty stellar track record rarely missing on any of its footwear collaborations. The upper is crafted from an airy black mesh with tonal leather overlays that give the shoe some texture and visual intrigue despite its all-black finish and a moulded external heel counter punctuates the incredibly cohesive nature of the overarching look. The CDG Homme logo adorns the tongue as an ever-present seal of approval, while dual branding appears on the custom sock liner.
